There is always someone in every room whose voice gets lost between everyone else’s laughter and conversations. Someone who can sit quietly for hours, listening to everyone around them, and no one notices the silence they leave behind. Someone who could walk out in the middle of the night, and for a while, no one would realize they were gone. Maybe that’s the strangest part. Not being unseen, but being so easily forgotten.
I call people like that invisible.
Not because no one can see them, but because no one ever stops long enough to notice.
