#Short_story Different answer A Teacher teaching Maths to a seven year-old Arnav asked him, “If I give you one apple and one apple and one more apple, how many apples will you have?” Within a few seconds Arnav replied confidently, “Four!” The dismayed teacher was expecting an effortless correct answer (three).She was disappointed. “Maybe the child did not listen properly”, she thought. She repeated, “Arnav, listen carefully. It is very simple. You will be able to do it right if you listen carefully. If I give you one apple and one apple and one more apple, how many apples will you have? "Arnav had seen the disappointment on his teacher’s face. He calculated again on his fingers. But within him he was also searching for the answer that will make the teacher happy. This time hesitatingly he replied. “Four…..”The disappointed stayed on the teacher’s face. She remembered Arnav loves Strawberries. She thought maybe he doesn’t like apples and that is making him lose focus. جواب متفاوت یه معلم که به آرناو 7 ساله ریاضیات تدریس می کرد از او پرسید،" اگه من یه سیب و یه سیب دیگه و یه سیب دیگه بهت بدم، چندتا سیب خواهی داشت؟" در چند ثانیه آرناو خیلی مطمئن جواب داد، "چهارتا!" معلم ناامید توقع یک جواب خیلی ساده رو داشت.(سه) او ناامید شده بود. او فکر کرد "شاید بچه درست گوش نکرده". او تکرار کرد" آرناو درست گوش کن. خیلی ساده است. تو می تونی جوابشو بگی اگه درست گوش کنی. اگه من یه سیب و یه سیب دیگه و یه سیب دیگه بهت بدم، چندتا سیب خواهی داشت؟" آرناو احساس ناامیدی رو توی صورت معلمش دید. او با انگشتانش دوباره محاسبه کرد. اما او به دنبال جوابی بود که معلم رو خوشحال کنه. جستجوی او برای جواب درست نبود. این بار با دودلی جواب داد"چهارتا..." نا امیدی و یاس توی صورت معلم موج میزد. معلم به خاطر آورد که آرناو عاشق توت فرنگیه. فکر کرد شاید چون سیب دوست نداره کنترلش رو از دست میده. این بار با شوق زیاد و خیلی سریع پرسید،" اگه یه توت فرنگی و یه توت فرنگی دیگه و یه توت فرنگی دیگه بهت بدم، آرناو چندتا توت فرنگی خواهد داشت؟" با دیدن معلم خوشحال، آرناو جوان دوباره با انگشتاش محاسبه کرد. هیچ فشاری روی او نبود، اما یه کمی فشار روی معلم بود. او می خواست با فکر جدیدش به موفقیت برسه. با یه خنده تردید آمیز آرناو جوان جواب داد" سه تا؟" حالا معلم یه خنده پیروزی را داشت. فکرش جواب داد. او می خواست به خودش تبریک بگه. اما یه چیز باقی مونده بود. یه بار دیگه ازش پرسید،" حالا اگه یه سیب و یه سیب دیگه و یه سیب دیگه بهت بدم چندتا سیب داری؟" آرناو به سرعت جواب داد،" چهارتا!" معلم مات و مبهوت ماند. او با لحن کمی خشمگین و عصبانی پرسید" چطور آرناو، چطور؟" آرناو جوان با لحن آرام و با تامل جواب داد،" چون من در کیفم یه سیب دارم". پند اخلاقی داستان: زمانی که کسی به شما جواب متفاوتی از چیزی که شما توقع دارید می دهد، لزوماً اشتباه نیست. شاید جنبه دیگری وجود دارد که ما اصلاً متوجه نشده ایم. https://eitaa.com/jaridehenglish راه ارتباطی با آیدی من @Esmaeiles4jarideh
