Why don’t we have the ability to trust in God? The purpose of "fear" in human beings is that it is supposed to cause them to be afraid of all dangers and to seek refuge in God like a child who seeks refuge with his mother. Then we won’t be afraid of anything due to our reliance on God. But currently we are not afraid of the main dangers in life, and when we are afraid, we do not seek refuge in God. 🔲 Do not focus on the world of others. 🔲 One who keeps thinking about other people’s blessings will become jealous and ungrateful. 👉🏼 #ControllingMyMind (14) ➖The Messenger (s) liked others to think good thoughts and not think bad thoughts. [Makarim al-Akhlaq, p. 350] When doing things, don’t say it’s impossible. Say, “It’s possible, God willing.” ➖In addition to spiritual issues, controlling our mind also affects the normal affairs of our lives. Often, the events in our lives are due to our own preoccupations and thoughts. One of Imam Sadiq’s (as) companions said, “I wanted to go to Imam (as). I was wearing new clothes, which I liked very much. On the way, the camel I was riding on made sudden movements and my clothes were torn. I went to the Imam and told him the story. He said, ‘When you wear new clothes say, “There is no god except Allah. Muhammad is the Messenger of God” so that you may be safe from harms. And when you like a worldly thing, don’t think about it very much.’” [Kafi, vol. 6, p. 459] ➖Start controlling your mind so you can distance yourself from the world. The Qur'an says, “And do not stretch your eyes after that with which We have provided different classes of them.” [20:131] So don’t think about these things. If people keep thinking about other people’s blessings, they will become jealous and ungrateful. ➖The Qur'an says, “…so that you will not be saddened for whatever does not come to you, nor be overjoyed in what has come to you.” [57:23] When you gain something, think good thoughts. Talk about God and say, “This is a favor from my Lord.” [Qur’an 27:40] Then talk to God. Say, "God, I will use this in Your way." Be busy with God. ➖Controlling our mind is also effective in social relationships. Imam Sadiq (as) said, “When you expect someone to help you, do not think negatively about him because this will reach him.” [Kafi, vol. 6, p. 459] Physics has proven mental waves are transmitted. So, we should not be suspicious or think negatively about others. We should also want good for others. This is one of the important factors for a person’s life to have a good ending. ✅ @PanahianEN

📘 Should God have Greatness in one’s eyes first, or should others besides God become small for him? After polite prayer has crushed your arrogance in front of God, God’s Greatness and Grandeur enters into your heart and the beautiful shadow of divine Greatness dominates your heart. When God’s Greatness has entered, internal purity, love for God, and knowledge about God will come too. Everything in this world will change for a person. If you see that you have thousands of curtains in front of your eyes but with praying all the curtains are abolished, don’t be surprised. If a person gains insight, this world will not have curtains for him anymore. These things are not surprising. Do you think God should have Greatness in one’s eyes first, or others besides God should become small for him? It is true that these two are like the two sides of a scale. If one goes up, the other one will come down. But, which one should happen first? Should this world be small in a person’s eyes first? I mean should someone tell you, “May I be sacrificed for you, don’t be jealous! Don’t get upset! Don’t regret! We live in this world for a short period. I swear to God that sinning is not enjoyable. Don’t think that others are in a better situation than you.” Should we be told these things for this world to become small in our eyes and for us not to be ruined by loving this word? Or, should God become Great in one’s heart first? We can find the answer to this question in the eloquent words of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali (as), when he described pious people, “God becomes Great for them and others besides Him become small in their eyes.” This means that first God becomes Great for them, then this world and others than God become small in their eyes. Therefore, the first step is that you should try to internalize God’s Greatness for yourself. But how? By praying politely. The way to recognize an honorable person The Immaculate Imams (as) have said, “Honorable people become polite when respected, but people of a low nature accept to be polite only by force." If you want to know if a person is honorable or not, try to make him polite by behaving generously with him for a while. 🔻Our problem in religiosity is not a lack of faith; it is our lifestyle! ➖We need a correct lifestyle more than we need awareness, belief, faith and spiritual feelings in order to become religious. Our lifestyle means how we live. Our lifestyle shapes our personality and habits. Our lifestyle shapes our behavior. This is what causes carrying out God's commands to become difficult or easy. ➖Most parts of religion are about how to live. Religion says, “Come and let me regulate your behavior. After that you will be corrected.” You want your child to become religious. What should you do? Should you just read the Qur’an or supplications in front of him?! Is this how a child becomes religious? ➖ With lifestyle, you can make children energetic, hardworking, and such that they are able to wake up easily in the morning. Then if your child has a little bit of faith, he/she will pray too. Almost all young people who do not pray, love God and believe in Him. They are good people too. So what is their problem? Laziness! ➖One of the main pillars of lifestyle is to continually regulate our lives. One who is not in the habit of evaluating his actions in his worldly life will not be watching over his spiritual life either. Imam Baqir (as) said, “One who is lazy in the affairs of this world will be lazier in the affairs related to his Hereafter." (Kafi, vol. 5, p. 84). ➖Why should we evaluate our deeds? ➖We live in a world where everything is regulated and it is impossible to live in it without regulating ourselves. ➖ A human being is a complex being that cannot be deciphered without precise evaluations. ➖ In the end, there will be a Resurrection Day where we will be held accountable. Before being evaluated there, let's evaluate ourselves here.
