It provides a space for reviewing the Orientalists' attitudes, views, and reflections on Imam al-Husayn, his life and times and the Ashura episode. The extended deadline for submission of papers is 15 March 2023. The conference has been scheduled to take place in Karbala on 12-13 May 2023. Papers may be written in Arabic, Persian, or English; they must be sent to the conference office via istishraq@warithanbia.com.
