Salam Alaykum while we received countless gestures of appreciation from the attendees last night, Alhamdolillah, we have also received some complaints. Acknowledgment of our shortcomings: 1️⃣ Last night, we had made food arrangements for 860 people as Qods Auditorium at Madrasah Imam Khomeini (R) has a capacity of around 750 people. We did not anticipate 1000+ attendees. To us, all the respected attendees were the guests of the esteemed and honorable Shuhada of Islam. We truly apologize for not being able to serve food for all 1000+ attendees. While the reward of each one of you is reserved with the Shuhada, we request that you forgive our management team for not being able to anticipate this high of a turnout. Out of embarrassment, none of our volunteer families who worked tirelessly to make arrangements for the program took any food. Some of them had been setting up and making pre-program arrangements since 4 PM and they stayed till after the program for wrap up and cleaning. Please remember them in your duaas. 2️⃣ We received some complaints that some ladies did not receive the mothers' day gift and some kids did not receive the goodie bags and some other kids did not receive the gifts. Humbly, from the very first till the last invite and even on the poster, we had mentioned that the gifts and goodie bags are limited in number and will be served to the believers on the first come first serve basis. We had arranged 150 mothers' day gifts, 300 goodie bags, and 300 gifts for kids - which ran out before the program was half-way done. Since you all were the guests of the Shuhada, we would still apologize for arranging limited gifts and goodie bags. Note: Students of Qom (SoQ) is an association of Islamic Seminary English speaking students residing in the holy city of Qom who contribute financially towards SoQ activities from their own pockets or through their friends, relatives, and families back home or through a handful of sincere and pious donors. The aim of these activities and programs is to propagate the message of the Pure Muhammadan Islam in English speaking communities. Regrettably, we don't have the funds and resources to arrange unlimited food and gifts etc. We apologize for any disappointments.

Salam Alaykum, thank you all for attending the program last night and showing your utmost respect, regard, reverence, and gratitude for the Shuhada of Islam, especially for Shaheed Qasem Soleimani, Shaheed Abu-Mahdi Al-Mohandes, Shaheed Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah and the recent martyrs of Palestine & Lebanon. The event took place at the Qods Auditorium, Madrasah Imam Khomeini (R) in the holy city of Qom. It was attended by 1000+ participants comprised of the English speaking students and scholars of Qom from different countries along with their families and friends. It was truly a multicultural and diverse gathering of the admirers of the martyrs of Islam from Nigeria, Philippines, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Iraq, US, Canada, UK, Australia, Ireland, Pakistan, New Zealand, Dubai, India, Lebanon, Sweden, Tanzania, Bangladesh, others, and of course the Islamic Republic of Iran. Many teachers of the Islamic Seminary of Qom also blessed the gathering with their presence. In addition, a group of International students from the University of Tehran also attended the program. Men, women, youth, kids and a number of senior scholars attended this event. Sayyid Shahryar from the US emceed the event which started off with a mesmerizing recitation of the Holy Quran by Br. Ruhullah from Pakistan followed up with a captivating recitation of Dua Tawassul by Shaykh Mastura from the Philippines. Br. Sayyid Aqil from Indonesia, Br. Ali Murtaza from Nigeria, Sr. Fatima from the US, Sr. Zainab from the US, and Br. Husayn from the US presented outstanding, refreshing and revolutionary spoken word poetry. The Panel Discussion was hosted by Br. M. Ali Araki from the UK with four panelists – Sayyid Agha Ali Raza, Shaykh Jaffer Ladak, Shaykh Ali Qomi, and Sayyid Shahryar Naqvi who answered questions pertaining to recent developments in the region. Ayatollah Mohsen Araki delivered the keynote speech in Farsi in which he outlined the responsibilities of the believers and pointed out the expectations from the scholars and students of the Islamic Seminary. 14 families received Raffle Draw gift pictures from Sayyid Sadeqi (Principal of AMIS) and Shaykh Rezaei (Head of the cultural activities of the Islamic Seminary). Almost all kids wore headbands in the Community Kids Surūd recital and performed the 'NASLE AARMANI 2' Surūd followed up with all-time-favorite 'Salam Farmande'. Hundreds of live audience applauded their performance with Salawaat on Muhammad wa Ale Muhammad (s). Their performance left many in tears of joy and the hall resonated with the slogans of 'Labbayka Ya Mahdi' and 'Labbayka Ya Khamenei'. The kids and youth received goodie bags and gifts upon entering the venue. Ladies also received Mothers' Day Gifts. Multimedia video clips of Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei, Shaheed Qasem Soleimani, and Shaheed Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah were played on the projector in subsequent intervals throughout the event. A beautiful nasheed titled "We Are The Warriors of Haydar" played in the entrance hallway. All videos were subtitled in English. Thank you for supporting the initiative to raise funds for the oppressed people of Lebanon & Palestine by purchasing the pictures and/or the hand-crafted frames. Attendees were served with Takeaway Dinner Tabarruk. Tea and snacks were made available at the entrance throughout the event. Our volunteer families and many attendees stayed behind for cleaning and wrap up. May Allah bless them all.
