HAWZAH PANEL DISCUSSION PROFILES Sayyid Agha Ali Raza Sayyid Agha Ali Raza earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Fiqh & Usul, and a Master's degree in Fiqh & Ma'arif, both from al-Mustafa International University. He is currently a PhD and Darse Kharij Student in Amir al-Mu'mineen Islamic Seminary. He is also a translator, with over 15 years of experience, having translated Islamic texts including works by Ayatullah Misbah Yazdi, Ayatullah Behjat, Ayatullah Hadi Marifat and other senior Islamic Scholars from Farsi & Arabic to English. He is also currently a researcher in the Philosophy & Theology Department of the International Institute for Research in Islamic Studies. While simultaneously managing the Translation Department of this institute. Shaykh Mustafa Araki Shaykh Mustafa Araki earned a Master’s degree in Economics at Royal Holloway, University of London. He is currently a distinguished lecturer at the Seminary of Qom and is a researcher in the field of Islamic Economics. He has six years of advanced studies in Darse-Kharij on Jurisprudence and the Principles of Jurisprudence under the guidance of eminent scholars including Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Ayatollah Saeed Va‘ezi, and Ayatollah Sadeq Larijani. He has over fourteen years of experience in Islamic preaching and outreach across Masajid and Islamic centers throughout the United Kingdom. Finally, he is the Director of Publications at the Research Institute of Majma‘ al-Fikr al-Islami. Sayyid Shahryar Naqvi Sayyid Shahryar Naqvi earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in International Business, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Arts, in Foreign Languages Spanish, followed up with a Graduate Certificate in Information Systems and a Master's in Business Administration, all from Mississippi State University, United States of America. He has been studying in the Islamic Seminary of Qom for 14 years now and has a Bachelor's degree in Shia Studies and is finishing up his Master's degree in Ahlul Bayt Studies. He currently is and has been a presenter and a host at Islamic Pulse for the last 7 years. Shaykh Ali Qomi Shaykh Ali Qomi earned his Bachelor's in Computer Sciences from Western Michigan University, and a Master's in Business Administration from Grand Valley State University, both in the United States of America. He has a Project Management Professional certification from the United States of America and has worked as a Project Manager, Software Architect, and Software Engineer in the US for 10+ years before joining the Islamic Seminary. He has been studying in the Islamic Seminary of Qom for 11 years now and has a Bachelor's degree in Fiqh & Usul, and is finishing up his Master's in Islamic Studies with a focus on modern theology. Finally, he is involved in several religious and cultural projects to propagate the Pure Muhammadan Islam in cyberspace and otherwise.

Salam Alaykum, thank you all for attending the family event on Thursday night and showing your utmost respect, regard, reverence, and gratitude for the Shuhada of Islam, especially for our beloved Shaheed Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah. The event took place at the Qods Auditorium, Madrasah Imam Khomeini (R) in the holy city of Qom. It was attended by 700+ participants comprised of the English speaking students and scholars of Qom from different countries along with their families and friends. It was truly a multicultural and diverse gathering of the admirers of the martyrs of Islam from Nigeria, Philippines, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Iraq, US, Canada, UK, Australia, Ireland, Pakistan, New Zealand, Dubai, India, Lebanon, Tanzania, Bangladesh, others, and of course the Islamic Republic of Iran. Many teachers of the Islamic Seminary of Qom also blessed the gathering with their presence. Men, women, youth, kids and a number of senior scholars attended this event. Sayyid Shahryar from the US emceed the event which started off with a mesmerizing recitation of the Holy Quran by Shaykh Qamruddin from Indonesia followed up with a captivating recitation of Dua Tawassul by Br. Ammar from Nigeria. Sr. Zainab from the US and Br. Husayn from the US presented outstanding, refreshing and revolutionary spoken word poetry. The University Panel Discussion included Sr. Marzieh Hashemi from PressTV, Dr. Zohreh Kharazmi, Dr. Reza Baqeri, and Dr. Ehsan Sharif; all Associate Professors from the University of Tehran. The Hawzah Panel Discussion included Sayyid Agha Ali Raza, Shaykh Mustafa Araki, Sayyid Shahryar Naqvi, and Shaykh Ali Qomi; all from the Islamic Seminary of Qom. Each participant of the panel addressed one unique question that was pertaining to today's socio-political affairs of the Muslim Ummah. 7 families of the respectable martyrs were invited on the stage to receive their Gifts of Honor from Shaykh Shahamat and Shaykh Rezaei. 12 families received Raffle Draw gift pictures. Almost all kids wore headbands in the Community Kids Surūd recital and performed the all-time-favorite 'Salam Farmande' Surūd. Hundreds of live audience applauded their performance with Salawaat on Muhammad wa Ale Muhammad (s). Their performance left many in tears of joy and the hall resonated with loud slogans chanted by children on the stage and attendees of the conference. The kids and youth received goodie bags and gifts prepared by our volunteer families. Multimedia video clips of Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei, Shaheed Qasem Soleimani, and Shaheed Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah were played on the projector in subsequent intervals throughout the event. A beautiful nasheed titled "O' Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah" played on the big screen before the event began formally. All videos were subtitled in English. Thank you all for supporting the books stall by stopping by and purchasing the books. All books were in English language. Attendees were served with Takeaway Dinner Tabarruk. Tea and snacks were made available at the entrance throughout the event. Our volunteer families and many attendees stayed behind for cleaning and wrap up. May Allah bless them all.
