🌹 We should avoid distancing ourselves from the Quran. We should always maintain a relationship and a friendship with the Quran. Some narrations recommend that we read at least 50 verses from the Quran a day; this is one benchmark. If you can’t do that, read at least ten verses every day. Don’t say that you read Surah Al-Fatiha and another surah in every rak’a of your daily prayers and that makes ten verses. No. In addition to what you recite in your daily prayers, whether the obligatory prayers or the recommended ones, open the Quran, sit attentively and read ten, twenty, fifty or a hundred verses.
