In the name of Allah The Compassionate The Merciful July 22, 2023 #Fourth_of_Muharram 1️⃣ Dear Zainabi sisters, Zainab is our benchmark. Ziyarat Aushura is our benchmark. We read this sentence in Ziyarat Aushura regularly, “I am at peace with those who are at peace with you and at war with those who are at war with you.” What’s the yardstick for war and peace? We must have a yardstick, especially for jihad of clarification and enjoining the good. Sometimes we must do them with peace and intimacy, and sometimes with war. It is in these tests that the Imam’s followers fall out, because many of us are still at the point where we are afraid of doing jihad of clarification, or enjoining the good, or we’re afraid of hearing blasphemy. We must learn that in enjoining the good and in befriending or becoming enemies with others, our criteria should be “Hussain” and not “us.” So, we must enjoin the good with both kindness and strength, with only one sentence if we have to, and everywhere. We must keep this in mind that nothing is more important than “the jihad of clarification and enjoining the good.” Islam is in danger, but our own matters are more important to us!! Because we use our calculating mind and unfortunately either we exaggerate or understate!! We don’t go in between. Our leader has said, “do the jihad of clarification and fire at will.” “Fire at will” means we should decide what to do according to “the Quran and the Sunnah.” So, let’s not chant. Raising someone like Hujajy is enough. No more slouching! The enemy makes tons of plots and plans against Islam and religion and plays them out in an international level. Its first outcome has been taking the hijab off of our women! We pass by those without hijab with no concern and dispassionately, and then enter Imam Hussain’s tent! We read Ziyarat Aushura and lie when we say, “we make war with whomsoever is at war with you.” May Allah grant us the best opportunities 🤲

In the name of Allah The Compassionate The Merciful July 22, 2023 #Fourth_of_Muharram 2️⃣ Dear Zainabi sisters, When Yazid told Lady Zainab, “Do you see what God did to your brother and family!?” in Ibn Ziyad’s gathering, she answered, “I saw nothing but beauty.” What has happened to us that we don’t see the beauties? Taking the hijab off has made us see everything ugly. Imam Saudiq (PBUH) said, “the Shi’ites will be sifted before Zohoor.” Fathers and sons will get separated. Sisters and brothers will get separated. They will burn the Quran. They will burn Aba Abdillah’s tent down. They will burn Imam Hussain’s flag. Why are we upset, whereas Zainab, with all the hardships she went through, saw nothing but beauty!? Because she saw God. If we consider ourselves to be like Zainab, we must also say, “I see nothing but beauty.” What took place on Aushura was nothing for Lady Zainab and so she didn’t lose herself. This caused the enemy to collapse. So why are the problems and incidents of our time so big for us? We have many Aushura’s ahead of us, we shouldn’t lose ourselves. Lady Zainab was like a kind mother not only to the hostages, but also to Imam Sajjad. We must use this as our model. We’ve gotten so caught up in our everyday life and working and learning, that we’ve forgotten our main duty. Our motherly and wifely love has faded. Ziyarat Aushura and Lady Zainab are our benchmark. Lady Zainab was the hero of Karbala. Each and every one of us has to be the hero of our time (akhar-uz-zaman). If we become its heroes, no one can do anything wrong. May Allah grant us the best opportunities 🤲

In the name of Allah The Compassionate The Merciful July 22, 2023 #Fourth_of_Muharram 3️⃣ Zainab made the right decisions, because she was connected to her Imam. One of her decisions was before Imam Hussain started toward Karbala. She chose to be with the Imam of her time. Whereas when we get stuck at a crossroad, we can’t make the right decision. Should we choose Imam Khamenei’s way, or what we think is fit? Another one of Lady Zainab’s decisions that she had to make was at a very critical moment of Aushura. She had to choose between staying beside her brother’s head and going to Imam Sajjad, who is now the Imam of her time. She made the right choice. She chose the Imam of her time. In order to make the right choice, it’s essential to be connected to the Imam of our time. Lady Zainab could make the right choices in different situations, because she was connected to the Imam of her time. She chose correctly when she chose to: Attend to the hostages Attend to Hussain’s children Make a sermon beside the tub in which Hussain’s head was in Leave her house and life and go to Karbala Take her younger children with her to Karbala She chose correctly in each situation How can we tell what is the right choice? We can’t tell!! In this world, when our hearts aren’t attached to this world or our own interests, but instead are attached to the heart of the Imam of our time, according to sermon 222 of Nahjul-Balaghah, our intellect will be enlightened; our ears will be able to hear and our eyes will be able to see; and we will be able to make the right choices. With all the love that Lady Zainab had for Aba Abdillah, she equipped the Imam of her time for martyrdom. That is why when after Hussain’s martyrdom, when the world was shaken and the sky turned dark, everyone was brightened up again with Zainab’s light. It’s because Zainab rushed to Imam Sajjad’s bedside and helped him to get up. Imam Sajjad put his hand on the earth and introduced himself to the whole world, saying, “O earth! I am the Imam after Hussain. Be still! And O sky! I am the Imam after Hussain. Brighten up!” This is how he introduced himself so that everything would go back into order. May Allah grant us the best opportunities 🤲

In the name of Allah The Compassionate The Merciful July 22, 2023 #Fourth_of_Muharram 4️⃣ Dear Zainabi ladies, Zainab’s odyssey completes the odyssey of Hussain. The odyssey which we Zainabi ladies must demonstrate to this world and this country should be a completion of: The Islamic Revolution of Iran Imam Khomeini’s Revolution And the leadership of Imam Khamenei In other words, we Zainabi ladies complete the Islamic Revolution. We ladies with hijab, who have eaten Hussain’s bread and salt, must complete the martyrdom of Hujajy, ‘Ajamiyan, Armon and all the other martyrs. Let’s organize ourselves and promise God that, “Indeed my prayer and my worship, my life and my death are for the sake of Allah, the Lord of all the worlds.” (6:162) Let’s put everything we have and don’t have sincerely for God. “May my father, mother and soul be at your ransom” And let’s ask our Imam to use us wherever needed. May Allah grant us the best opportunities 🤲
