Today, on the International Day of Women in Mathematics, we remember the legacy of a woman who left her mark on the cosmos of mathematics forever. 🌌📐 Maryam Mirzakhani — a dreamer, a genius, and a symbol of courage _ climbed to the highest peak of mathematics and won the Fields Medal. The nobel prize of mathematics which no American woman has ever received. But Maryam did. An Iranian daughter. From our land.🏅 Maryam Mirzakhani made Iran’s name shine among the stars of science.
