این بار در مورد اصطلاح جالب use it or lose it صحبت می‌کنیم.
این اصطلاح، یک اصطلاح غیر رسمی در زبان انگلیسی است و به این معنی است که اگر از آموخته‌ها استفاده نشوند ممکن است به فراموشی سپرده شوند و همچنین فرصت‌ها اگر استفاده نشوند ممکن است از بین بروند!
مفهوم این اصطلاح دقیقا در مورد یادگیری خود زبان انگلیسی هم صادق است. تمام جملات، سختارها و کلماتی که از کلاس، کتاب، فیلم، آهنگ، سایتها و ... یاد می‌گیرید اگر استفاده نشوند از بین می‌روند!
طبق منحنی فراموشی بیشترین میزان فراموشی در بازه زمانی یک هفته بعد از یادگیری اتفاق می‌افتد، بنابراین بهترین زمان تکرار و تمرین آموخته‌های جدید همان هفته اول یادگیری است!

Tuesday, February 6, 2024, Rajab 25, 1444 AH, was the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Kazim (AS), the Shias' seventh Imam.
Al-Kadhimayn Shrine is a Shia Islamic mosque and shrine located in the Kadhimayn suburb of Baghdad, Iraq. It contains the tombs of the seventh and ninth Twelver Shia Imams, respectively Imam Musa al-Kaẓim (AS) and his grandson Imam Muhammad al-Jawad (AS).

There was a poor uneducated farmer who was very rude to our 7th Imam, Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (as) whenever he saw him.
دهقان بی سواد و فقیری بود که هر وقت امام هفتم ما امام موسی کاظم (علیه السلام) را می دید بسیار بی ادبی می کرد.
No matter how rude this man was, Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (as) never got angry and he never said anything to the man.
هر چقدر هم که آن مرد بی ادبی می کرد، امام موسی کاظم (علیه السلام) هرگز عصبانی نشد و به آن مرد چیزی نمیگفت.
Imam Musa Al-Kadhim's (as) friends wanted to punish the rude man, but Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (as) would not allow them to. Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (as) told them that he himself would teach this man a lesson.
دوستان امام موسی کاظم علیه السلام می خواستند مرد گستاخ را تنبیه کنند، اما امام موسی کاظم علیه السلام اجازه ندادند. امام موسی کاظم علیه السلام به آنها فرمود که خودم به این مرد عبرتی خواهم داد.
One day Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (as) rode out to the rude man's farm where the man was working. When the man saw Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (as) he stopped working and put his hands on his hips, ready to be abusive again.
روزی امام موسی کاظم علیه السلام سواره روانه مزرعه محل کار آن مرد گستاخ شد. وقتی آن مرد امام موسی کاظم (علیه السلام) را دید، دست از کار کشید و دستانش را بر باسنش گذاشت و آماده بود که دوباره به ایشان توهین کند.
Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (as) dismounted, went towards the man and greeted him with a friendly, smiling face. Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (as) then told him that he should not overwork himself and that the land he had was very good. He then asked him how much he was expecting to receive for the crop.
امام موسی کاظم علیه السلام پیاده شد و به طرف آن مرد رفت و با چهره ای دوستانه و خندان به او سلام کرد. امام موسی کاظم (علیه السلام) سپس به او فرمود که در کار زیاده روی نکن و زمینی که در اختیار دارد بسیار خوب است. سپس از او پرسید که انتظار دارد چقدر برای محصول دریافت کند.
The farmer was amazed at Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (as) politeness and sincerity, he waited a little then said that he was expecting to get around 200 gold pieces. Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (as) took out a purse and gave it to the farmer telling him that in it was 300 gold pieces, more than the value of his crop. Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (as) told the man to take the money and also to keep the crop, and that he hoped the man would receive more for it.
کشاورز از ادب و اخلاص امام موسی کاظم علیه السلام شگفت زده شد، اندکی صبر کرد و گفت انتظار دارم حدود 200 قطعه طلا به دست بیاورم. امام موسی کاظم علیه السلام کیفی را بیرون آورد و به کشاورز داد و به او گفت 300 قطعه طلا بیشتر از ارزش محصول اوست. امام موسی کاظم (علیه السلام) به مرد فرمود که پول را بگیر و همچنین محصول را نگه دارد و امیدوار است که آن مرد در ازای آن پول بیشتری دریافت کند.
The farmer faced with such kind behavior and good manner (Akhlaq), was very ashamed of himself and asked Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (as) for forgiveness.
کشاورز با چنین رفتار نیک و برخورد عالی از کارخودش بسیار شرمنده شد و از امام موسی کاظم علیه السلام طلب بخشش کرد.
After that when ever the man would see Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (as) he would greet him very politely. Imam Musa Al-Kadhim's (as) friends were very surprised!
پس از آن مرد، هرگاه امام موسی کاظم (علیه السلام) را می دید، بسیار مؤدبانه به او سلام می کرد. دوستان امام موسی کاظم علیه السلام بسیار تعجب کردند!
Moral: Do not treat people the way they treat you but always better. Give to people even if they do not act as if they deserve it.
نکته اخلاقی: با مردم آن گونه رفتار نکنید که با شما رفتار می کنند، بلکه همیشه بهتر باشد. به مردم عطا کنید حتی اگر عملشان طوری باشد که گویی سزاوار آن نیستند.
