مسئولان حرم حضرت عباس (علیه السلام ) در عراق اعلام کردند که بیش از ۱۴ میلیون و ۵۰۰ هزار نفر در مراسم پیاده‌روی اربعین سال 2020 در شهر کربلا شرکت کردند. در کوفه حضرت زینب(سلام الله علیها) ابتدا با سخنانی کوبنده و روشن عمق فاجعه ای را که کوفیان پدید آورده بودند، بیان کردند. بعد از ایشان امام سجاد(علیه السلام) مردم را مورد خطاب قرار دادند و آنها را بسیار سرزنش کردند.
