Hur ibn Yazid al-Riyahi was a great general in the army of Kufa.
He was dispatched to intercept the caravan of Imam Husayn (A).
And yet, in the end, we find that this general of the enemy's army changes sides at the last moment and becomes a martyr for the cause of Allah alongside the Master of Marytrs, Imam Husayn (A).
Sister Sidra recites an elegy in ode to Hur ibn Yazid al-Riyahi and how "Hazrat Hur Finds Freedom".
