◾️Imam Ali’s (as) Sorrows Tonight is the last night of the life of the man who was very alone and greatly oppressed in the world. But what were the Commander of the Faithful’s (as) sorrows about? What sorrows surrounded Ali's (as) heart and hurt him? @PanahianEN

🌙 Complete your Night of Destiny! 🔻Many believers find they have less spiritual motivation after the Nights of Destiny. This is while one should go toward God on the night after the Nights of Destiny with even more enthusiasm. Repenting means removing the barrier between yourself and God. When you say, “O Lord, forgive me,” on the Nights of Destiny, God forgives you no matter how much you have sinned. Saying, “God protect us from the fire,” [Jawshan Kabir Supplication] shortens the distance between God and us. Asking for forgiveness is one of the etiquettes that is a part of servitude. Talking in this way is more polite than saying, “God, I want to become close to You. Remove this distance between You and me.” 🔻But after the believers supplicate God on the Nights of destiny, they go home and rest! If God has truly forgiven you during these three nights, and God willing He has forgiven you, you will enjoy supplicating Him even more. Now that the path is open to you, move forward. Don’t stop! 🔻Many of the destinies that have been earmarked for us will be given to us if our worshipping is truly beautiful. But most people do not receive during the year the things that had been determined to be given to them on the Nights of Destiny. Some things had been earmarked for us, but they are not given. This person did not go to God to receive it. Many of our blessings are conditional based on a beautiful worshipping. @PanahianEN
✊🏼 A global sense of responsibility has made Al-Quds Day A sense of responsibility in the Islamic nation and a global sense of responsibility has made Al-Quds Day. Under the pretext of Al-Quds Day, let's review Imam Khomeini's words about this day, "Muslims need to be aware that today is not like yesterday. This period in history is not like previous periods when every tribe pursued its own interests in its own territory... Today, the interests of all Islamic countries are intertwined. Today, any issue in one corner of the world is an issue related to the whole world, not just their issue." At another time, he said, "Al-Quds Day is universal, and it is not a day dedicated only to Al-Quds. It is the day of the oppressed confronting the Arrogant Powers. It is the day when the nations that were under the pressure of American and non-American oppression stand up.” On Al-Quds Day, only films related to Al-Quds Day are shown, but according to what Imam Khomeini had said, the bombing of Yemen, the killings in Kashmir, and the hunger of some people in Africa should be shown on this day as well. When he said "universal," he meant that even American crimes in Vietnam, Latin America, etc. must be shown and talked about. Al-Quds Day is not just about one place, Al-Quds. Of course, that is the focal point. On another occasion, he said, "I am hopeful this day will be a prelude to ‘the group of the oppressed in the world [a united group composed of oppressed people from all over the world].’” @PanahianEN
🔻We will have a sweet life if… The more we are able to reduce our selfishness in life, the sweeter our life will be. Let’s try to address our own shortcomings instead of paying attention to our spouse’s shortcomings. It is narrated that Imam Sadiq (as) said, “Blessed is he who is busy with his own faults to such an extent that he does not see the faults of others.” We must be continuously busy looking for our own faults. As a result of this, we will behave with our spouse better. And in most cases, this will also cause our spouse to improve too. @PanahianEN
Eid Mubarak! 🌸 Congratulations on Eid al-Fitr @PanahianEN
🌱God removes the grief of bidding farewell Leaving the holy month of Ramadan creates a sadness in our heart. But God does not allow this sorrow to be very deep. He ends this month with an Eid, otherwise it was not clear what this sorrow would do with the believers! There are surprising meanings within the Eid al-Fitr Prayer, “O God, grant me whatever You granted the Prophet (s) and the Household of the Prophet (s).” In the qunut of this prayer, there is hardly any asking for forgiveness and it seems as if somehow God owes us, “O God, grant me whatever You granted to the Prophet (s) and the Household of the Prophet (s), and repel from me whatever you repelled from them.” You are standing in this prayer and asking for the highest rewards. You’re asking God to grant you whatever the righteous servants have asked for and whatever the Imam of the Time (aj) has asked for. With this Eid, God removes the grief of bidding farewell to the month of Ramadan. Eid Mubarak to everyone! @PanahianEN
📘Daily prayers are not talking to God whenever we are in the mood I ask that when you want to define prayer to pay attention to this aspect of prayer that it is “obligatory.” When you want to talk about prayer, pay special attention to this point that prayer is obligatory. Prayer is not talking to God whenever we want. That is not what we call prayer! If in the beginning of a prayer you say, “God, I am praying because I want to talk to You. ‘Allahu Akbar (God is Greater),’” this prayer is not accepted. If you behave in this way, you have not prayed yet. Rather, you should have this intention, “God, I am praying the two cycle Morning Prayer that You have commanded me to pray, ‘Allahu Akbar.’” Of course, you can talk about your needs and wants while you are doing this obligatory deed too. And it is very good to do so. It is good to do so because He Himself has given permission to you to talk about your needs when you are praying. Actually, He has advised us to do so. 💫 Honoring and empowering women 🔻The way to honor and empower women in society is not to just repeat the slogan “Honor mothers.” In order to help and empower mothers to be able to play their role in the family and in society properly, a new university field or fields should be defined at least at the undergraduate level. These fields could then be pursued as a specialty for an MA or PhD too. Once, we reviewed the topic of majors with some intellectuals. There are a wide variety of topics that could help mothers, which are by no means limited to cooking and home decoration. For example, topics could include a woman’s role in training and educating, the various roles a woman plays in the home and in the community, etc. Graduates in this field could work as advisors for mothers in schools or teachers for other women. 🔻The first effect of such fields is that mothers would be able to educate their children wisely after graduating. Secondly, they could be mentors and counselors for other mothers in different environments. Many young women are naturally interested in learning the sciences of parenting, marriage, and housekeeping and many majors such as Mining Engineering are not that suitable for women. Currently, there are not enough opportunities in higher education in these fields. Women who are studying in other fields and sciences due to their special abilities and talents can benefit from these lessons too as extracurricular or online classes. 🔻Of course, we are not suggesting that women should be stopped from studying in other fields and specialties. These courses could be studied alongside one’s current activities. But adding such majors in the university would have many benefits and blessings. Mothers who cannot participate in such classes can set up their own groups or associations in schools or Mosques and plan out the courses they need. 🌸Congratulations on International Mother’s Day @PanahianEN

An Artist Who Creates a Magnificent Work of Art Mothers help themselves to grow with the birth of each child. A person who deprives herself from being the mother of several children loses many spiritual blessings. Every child is a magnificent work of art worth an artist's lifetime investment. Eyes stare at a work of art for years, but hearts admire the artist. @PanahianEN
🔘People are different ◾️One of the most important facts in human life is the differences between human beings. People are different spiritually and in their expectations, feelings, mental powers, and characteristics. We must acknowledge the differences because these differences are a part of the design of the Lord of the universe. Religion has given important advice about these differences. ◾️Imam Sadiq (as) said, "If people knew how God created human beings and with what differences, they would not blame anyone!” (Al-Kafi, vol. 2, p. 44) This is a very important point. ◾️It is said in the traditions that even a sinner should not be blamed! We may see some rebukes given in terms of giving advice in a public speech by the Commanders of the Faithful (as) or in the words of the Imams (as), but we should not blame one person specifically. ◾️In general, we can say that no one should lie. But if we see a liar, we cannot easily judge him. People are different in their spiritual, genetic, cultural, and intellectual make up. They are also different in their capacity for faith. ◾️It is said in a tradition that people have different capacities for faith. Some only have the capacity for one measure of faith, some two, some three and up to ten measures. Then the tradition continues on to say that a person who has two measures of faith should not impose his faith on a person who has only one measure of faith. If you do this, you will push him out of religion! This is because you imposed more than his capacity on him. The tradition also explains that if you push him out of religion due to imposing your own religion on him, you are responsible for returning him to religion! ◾️One of the reasons that some people escape from religion is that some things have been imposed on them that they did not have the capacity for. They become upset so they show animosity toward religion and religiosity. ◾️This should be taken into consideration in religious teachings. People should know that if religious people see a wrong behavior from someone or even if a certain person has a weak faith, they will not judge him negatively. People are different. @PanahianEN
