During his lifetime the Holy Imam (A.S.) trained many prominent scholars of jurisprudence and hadith. He introduced the institution of “Ijtihad and Taqlid”(Following Fuqaha in Jurisprudence and all the religious issues) advising Shi’ites to follow those who were learned, “Muttaqi”, and just Fuqaha. Imam Askari(A.S.) was succeeded by the Awaited Living Imam Muhammad al-Mahdi(A.S.),the Awaited Savior who will establish the universal divine and heavenly rule in the whole world.
