It shows how an oral normative tradition embedded in communal practice was transformed into a systematic legal science defined by hermeneutic analysis of a clearly demarcated scriptural canon. This transformation was inaugurated by the innovative legal theory of Muhammad b. Idrīs al-Shāfi’ī (d. 820 CE), and it took place against the background of a crisis of identity and religious authority in ninth-century Egypt. #یادداشت @studiesofshia ✳️ گفتگویی با دکتر کارل ارنست / سید امیرحسین اصغری در دو روز گذشته فرصتی دست داد که با آقای دکتر کارل ارنست Carl Ernst دیدار و گفتگو داشته باشم. ایشان رییس دپارتمان ادیان دانشگاه کارولینای شمالی در آمریکاست. قبلا کتاب «اقتدا به محمد ص» ایشان توسط جناب آقای دکتر کاکایی به فارسی ترجمه شده است. در سال ۲۰۱۷ هم کتابی با نام It is not just Academic منتشر کردند که به مطالعات اسلام شناسی می پرداخت. به ایشان گفتم که در سال ۲۰۱۶ آقای دکتر نصر در یک سخنرانی در دانشگاه میشیگان ابراز داشت که از معدود افراد مورد قبول وی در مطالعات اسلام شناسی شما {کارل ارنست} هستید گفتند: دکتر نصر در چاپ اولین کتابم به من کمک کرد اما در عین حال برخی تفاوت نظرها هم با ایشان دارم. ایشان اضافه کرد که در حال کار بر روی نسخه های خطی باقیمانده از برده ای آفریقایی در آمریکاست که خیلی قابل تامل است گویا آن شخص صوفی بوده است و رسالاتی به عربی در باب معانی باطنی اسلام از وی باقیمانده است. نام وی عمر بن سید بوده است. #مطالعات_شیعه_در_غرب @studiesofshia

Put another way, this book intends to explore the extent to which contemporary political liberalism has more successfully accommodated religious people through softening the secularity of liberalism than traditional comprehensive liberalism. #مقاله «تأسیس کرسی شیعه شناسی در دانشگاه های غربی انگیزه ها، چالش ها و مسیر پیش رو»، نوشته پیمان اسحاقی، مجله عصر اندیشه،‌ شماره 21، دی 1398، ص 18-22. برخی از مطالب این مقاله: 👈 با نگاهی به کرسی‌های تاسیس شده در زمینه‌های خاورمیانه‌شناسی، ایران‌شناسی، اسلام‌شناسی و شیعه‌شناسی، ملاحظه می‌کنیم که در عرصه دولت‌های کشورهای اسلامی دولت‌ عربستان سعودی و کشورهای عربی حاشیه خلیج فارس در این زمینه بسیار جدی و قدرتمند ظاهر شده‌اند و از دولت‌های کشورهای مهم دیگر اسلامی همانند ایران، ترکیه، اندونزی، مالزی، و مصر به صورت محسوسی جلو افتاده‌اند. 👈 نکته مهم در زمینه کرسی‌های ایران‌شناسی این است که رشد این کرسی‌ها در دهه گذشته نه به سبب فعالیت‌های جمهوری اسلامی ایران بلکه به دلیل تلاش‌های شخصیت‌های حقیقی ایرانی ساکن خارج از کشور صورت گرفته است. 👈 فقدان کرسی‌های شیعه‌شناسی در آکادمیای غربی آن هنگامی دردناک‌تر می‌شود که در نظر داشته باشیم که در هیچ یک از محافل اسلامی و ایرانی، به اندازه فضاهای شیعی در ایران، سخن از لزوم تاسیس این کرسی‌ها نرفته است. @studiesofshia @peymaneshaghi110
