A frail old man went to live with his son, daughter-in-law, and a four-year old grandson. The old man's hands trembled, his eyesight was blurred, and his step faltered. The family ate together nightly at the dinner table. But the elderly grandfather's shaky hands and failing sight made eating rather difficult. Peas rolled off his spoon onto the floor. When he grasped the glass often milk spilled on the tablecloth. پیرمردی ضعیف رفت با پسر، عروس و نوه چهار ساله‌اش زندگی کند. دستان پیرمرد می لرزید، چشمانش تار شده بود و قدم هایش سست می شد. خانواده هر شب سر میز شام با هم غذا می خوردند. اما دستان لرزان پدربزرگ سالخورده و ضعف بینایی او غذا خوردن را نسبتاً سخت کرده بود. نخود از قاشقش می غلطید روی زمین . وقتی لیوان را می گرفت اغلب شیر روی سفره می ریخت The son and daughter-in-law became irritated with the mess. "We must do something about grandfather," said the son. I've had enough of his spilled milk, noisy eating, and food on the floor. Since grandfather had broken a dish or two, his food was served in a wooden bowl. Sometimes when the family glanced in grandfather's direction, he had a tear in his eye as he ate alone. The four-year-old smiled and went back to work. کودک چهار ساله آنها همه را در سکوت تماشا کرد. یک روز غروب قبل از شام، پدر متوجه شد که پسرش با تکه های چوب روی زمین بازی می کند. با لحن شیرینی از کودک پرسید داری چی درست می کنی؟ پسر با همان شیرینی جواب داد: "اوه، من دارم یک کاسه کوچک برای شما و مامان درست می کنم که از وقتی بزرگ شدم غذاتون را توش بخورید." کودک چهار ساله لبخندی زد و بسر کار برگشت The words so struck the parents that they were speechless. Then tears started to stream down their cheeks. Though no word was spoken, both knew what must be done. That evening the husband took grandfather's hand and gently led him back to the family table. این سخنان آنقدر بر والدیننش تأثیر گذاشت که زبانشان بند آمد. بعد اشک روی گونه هایشان جاری شد. هر چند حرفی زده نشد، هر دو می‌دانستند چه باید کرد. آن شب شوهر دست پدربزرگ را گرفت و به آرامی او را به سمت میز خانواده برد For the remainder of his days he ate every meal with the family. And for some reason, neither husband nor wife seemed to care any longer when a fork was dropped, milk spilled, or the tablecloth soiled. در بقیه روزهایش غذاییش را با خانواده می خورد. و بنا به دلایلی، به نظر می‌رسید که نه زن و نه شوهر دیگر اهمیتی نمی‌دهند که چنگالی بیفتد، شیر بریزد یا سفره کثیف شود Children are remarkably perceptive. Their eyes ever observe, their ears ever listen, and their minds ever process the messages they absorb. If they see us patiently provide a happy home atmosphere for family members, they will imitate that attitude for the rest of their lives. The wise parent realizes that every day that building blocks are being laid for the child's future.

Voting is not enough, encourage each other to vote. 🔻 بعضی فکر می کنند همین که در انتخابات شرکت کردند، رسالتشان انجام شده است. قرآن خلاف این را می گوید. چرا؟ چون قرآن می گوید: «ان الانسان لفی خسر، الا الذین آمنوا و عملوا الصالحات و تواصوا بالحق و تواصوا بالصبر». می گوید ایمان و عمل صالح، انسان را از خسران نجات می دهد اما نه به تنهایی! Some people think that their mission has been accomplished as soon as they participated in the elections. The Quran says the opposite. Why? Because the Qur'an says: "Man is a loser, except for those who believe, and do good deeds, and obey the truth, and obey with patience." He says that faith and righteous deeds save a person from loss, but not alone! 🔻رأی دادن، مثل ایمان و عمل صالح است. اما «تواصوا بالحق» هم لازم است. رأی دادن لازم است، اما کافی نیست. Voting is like faith and righteous action. But«تواصوا بالحق» is also necessary . Voting is necessary, but not enough. 🔻اگر کسی خانوادۀ خودش را توصیه به شرکت در انتخابات نکند، همسایه های خودش را توصیه نکند، دوستان خودش را توصیه نکند و برای این کار، تبلیغ نکند، طبق آیه قرآن از جملۀ زیانکاران است. If someone does not recommend his family to participate in the elections, does not recommend his neighbors, does not recommend his friends and does not advertise for this purpose, according to the Qur'an verse, he is one of the loser
