In the exact same day that we held a funeral for president Raesi in Tehran, in his meeting with Ismail Haniyeh, Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, is promising the end of “you know what” based on Quran. Now, some people might be questioning that whether the next president will have the same policies toward Palestine, that whether Iran will continue its support for Palestine… Well, that’s one of the reasons that we have a “Leader” who by definition, must also be an expert in Islam. He is in charge of making sure that we stay within the bounds of Islam. We don’t hold a referendum to decide whether we should support Palestine, the same way that we don’t hold a referendum to decide whether we should keep the mandatory Hijab Law. We are obligated. We have had presidents that based on their other policies, you can guess that they would have had a different policy toward Palestine if they had gotten the chance to do so; but they hadn’t gotten the chance to do so! They were also protesters or rioters that through the years have chanted in the streets “Not Gaza, not Lebanon, I give my life for Iran”; they also will not have a say on the matter, because we live in a “Islamic” Republic; it’s a “Religious” Democracy. 📄1

After the leader promises the formation of a Palestinian state, Ismail Haniyeh responds “God willing we will see that day together”. God willing, we all will see that day together. 📄2

A letter from Iran, to American university students: (This is from the letter) …The Quran's lesson for us Muslims and all of humanity, is to stand up for that which is right: "So be steadfast as you have been commanded" (11:112). Note: I noticed maybe 3 or 4 mistakes in the reading of the letter, and one of them is the word “ungovernable”, which must be replaced by “unforgivable“.

So, this year's bara’at [renunciation of the polytheists] is more prominent than ever. This year's Hajj is a Hajj of renunciation. The faithful pilgrims, both Iranian and non-Iranians from all corners of the globe, must be able to convey this Quranic reasoning to the entire Islamic world. This is what Palestine needs today.
